Synchronized menus and toolbars

A new feature of SQL Navigator is the concept of "current objects." Database objects associated with an open window become "current" for the entire SQL Navigator development environment (IDE).

Whenever you open or select a database object (a table, procedure, function, index, and so on) in one of the following windows, SQL Navigator enables all the appropriate menu or toolbar commands for that object.

EXAMPLE

When an object is displayed in an editing window, you can use the Locate in Schema command (in the Object menu) to jump to that objects node in the DB Navigator tree, expanding all intermediate nodes and displaying the objects detail view.
