SQL Navigator’s Workspace feature gives you instant access to your frequently used database objects and connections.
Workspaces are windows where you can store sets of related items that you frequently need to work with. Instead of searching for the entities you want to work with in various lists and directories, you can store shortcuts to those objects in your workspaces. You can use your workspace to log on to the database. Simply double-click a connection or object in the workspace to create a new session.
These items can include:
files
database connections (username/connection strings)
schemas (in particular connections)
schema objects
code location bookmarks within stored programs
schema object templates
You can create multiple Workspaces. Like the other dockable windows, the Workspace windows retain size and position between sessions; each individual workspace window retains its own set of parameters.
