Main windows

The SQL Navigator interface is highly customizable. The following example shows a typical arrangement of toolbars and windows. Many other arrangements are possible.

Most SQL Navigator toolbars and windows can be moved around and resized. The main SQL Navigator window automatically "remembers" its size, state and position. Toolbars can be moved and docked at the bottom, left and right sides of the window, or left "floating" for better use of window space. You can easily hide and show individual toolbars. Some windows, such as the Workspace, Output, and Code Assistant windows, are dockable, stay-on-top windows.

Each session-related window (code editor, object editor, and so on) remembers and automatically opens in the appropriate database session.

You can freely switch to other sessions and continue working within the same window, or open a new window.
