Windows
The following are dockable, stay-on-top windows:
Output window
Workspace window
Auto Describe window
Execution Status window (in the Debugger)
Code Assistant window
Task Manager window
Source Preview window
Dockable windows can be docked to the top, bottom, or sides of the main window or any other dockable window.
When the Dockable option is selected for the Output window, it remains visible ("on top") when other windows are opened. When the Dockable option is not selected, the Output window is a normal MDI window that can be hidden behind the current window.
You can dock several windows to the same site.
When moving a dockable window, you can prevent it from docking by holding down the Ctrl key.
You can close a dockable window whether it is floating or docked. When opened, a dockable window automatically appears in the same state (floating or docked) and in the same screen position or at the same site as when it was last closed.
Toolbars
Toolbars can be docked to any side of the main window or can float on top of the current window. Additionally, the main menu bar can be floating or docked.
You can move toolbars close to the area where you are working
