Displaying a schema object and its properties

 

 

When an object is open in an editing window, and you want to see where that object resides in the schema, you can use the Locate in Schema command to jump to that objects node in the DB Navigator tree. This action expands all intermediate nodes and displays the objects details—such as privileges and columns.

The Locate in Schema command is available not only from the object editing windows, but also from the following windows:

To locate an open or selected object in the schema

You can hide the right pane to save screen space or increase the speed of the display.

Click image\Sqln0040.gif (the Show/Hide Details button) on the DB Navigator toolbar

Right-click in the DB Navigator window and choose View image\Sqln0041.gif Show/Hide Details from the shortcut menu.
