SQL Navigator menus and toolbars can be floating or docked, so you can put them where you want them. They are completely customizable. Your settings are saved and recalled automatically.

The available commands change according to the current object (the object selected in the main work area). Also, they are completely customizable—you can add and remove commands to menus and toolbars. The following are typical default menus.

Menu synchronization
The commands that are available in all windows change as different types of objects and windows are selected or opened.
Database objects associated with an open window become "current" for the entire SQL Navigator development environment.
Whenever you open a database object (a table, procedure, function, index, and so on) in one of the following windows, SQL Navigator enables all the appropriate menu or toolbar commands for that object.

Code Search

Visual object editors
For example, when an object is open in an editing window, you can use the Locate in Schema command to jump to that object’s node in the DB Navigator tree, expanding all intermediate nodes and opening the object’s details.
Toolbars
All toolbars in the main application window are customizable.
To see a hint about the purpose of any toolbar button, pause the mouse pointer over it.
You can move toolbars to any location in the workspace, and dock them at the bottom, left and right sides of the work area. Toolbars can float on top of the current window.
You can show and hide toolbars to provide more work space. You can change the shape of toolbars by dragging their horizontal or vertical boundaries.
The most recent window and toolbar size and position will be automatically restored upon reopening.
The following toolbars are available (by default) in the main window. If they are not visible, you may need to reset your toolbars.
